Synopsis
Book Two of Tales from the Boreal, containing three stories set in the Northeastern side of Ontario Canada. Unique, rugged, far from any major city, the northeastern corridor spans from Cochrane to Greenstone, very few large towns spread out over a vast distance, a large town in this region is 5,000 people, apart from Timmins, which is a little ways south of the corridor. These stories are quintessential north, with Lowther, the long abandoned radar base, fire towers spread out to detect the first signs of smoke and the fire that follows, and a radio tower repairman who not only faces the 70 metre tower, but the wolves and bear that await his bloody descent. Realistic, sincere and set in Canada's far northern Boreal forest, the forest that gave the Northern Lights it name Aurora Borealis.
