Synopsis

The Hammer & Sickle is the mark of the Beast.
The emblem meets the two criteria set by Rev. 13:17-18. It is both a rebus of the name Therion ("beast", in Greek) based on the acrophonic meaning of the letters that spell Therion: tav = "mark"; resh = "head"; yod = "handle"; vav ="hook".
These letters also make the number 61 6 ,but have been replaced with tav, resh tet, and zayin to avoid using a combination of letters with theophoric significance.
The Hammer & Sickle is also an is also a monogram of the letters TAV, RESH, TET, and ZAYIN, which makes 616. These are the letters usually employed for this number, but this number points to THERION ("BEAST") through the alternative letters TAV, RESH, YOD, VAV, which point to THERION. through transliteration from Hebrew to Greek.
The book shows that the true number of the Beast is 616.
This book does not explore the meaning of Babylon the Great or of the Second Beast to the same extent that The Monogram of the Beast does, but it rectifies some of the mistakes of this earlier book.
