Synopsis

In 2007 the documentary Zeitgeist was released. The film was divided into three parts. The first part was about religion, the second was about the 9/11 attacks and the third and final part was about the Federal Reserve Banking system. The first part (dealing with religion) made the bold claim that Jesus of Nazareth never existed. As part of his argument, Peter Joseph took the position of many other “Jesus Mythicists” – that the story of Jesus Christ’s life was plagiarized from other pre-Christian gods. How are Christians to respond to these claims? Is it true that all of these gods have the same characteristics of Jesus and that He was plagiarized from them? Is Christianity a myth based upon prior myths? This book will analyze the claims. It will review the sources cited by Jesus Mythicists and analyze them. No, the claims are not true! Jesus of Nazareth is the One True Messiah. We will establish the claims of the Bible and its own internal evidence for its validity. We will refute Zeitgeist and the other Jesus Mythicists and establish the credibility of the Bible and Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father but by Him (John 14:6). His claims are exclusive. Contrary to Jesus Mythicists, Jesus is the World’s One Crucified Savior.
