Synopsis
This book was born out of the challenges and issues faced by Robert & Melanie Hill during the first five years of their marriage. At that point, they were considering separation and even divorce.
However, they decided to give their marriage one more chance and sought help through marriage counseling. Through months of counseling, they realized that their marriage couldn’t be compared to others, and they needed to establish their unique culture within it.
The Hill's say "We accepted that our marriage would be different from others, and we stopped comparing it to anyone else’s. Over time, we learned that every marriage is unique, and what works for others may not work for us. When we counsel couples now, whether they are planning to get married or already married, we encourage them to create their own culture within their unique relationship."
