"It is my intention, in this work, to review the practices and theological frameworks which have proved most spiritually formative for my team’s disciple-making efforts over our years in New York. I will seek to do this through a survey of various pictures of God: e.g. God as Silent, God as a Guest, an Incarnational God, and a God who grieves. I hope to review the theological images and types of prayer that have proved most helpful in forming healthy disciples and church leaders in our context, as well as some of the pictures in contemporary ministry I have found detrimental to work like our team’s. In other words, this is a testament to the Jesus we pray to." - From the Author
