Let me first give you a definition that helps you understand the title. The word “grace” is defined in the Greek as: the Divine influence on the human heart and its reflection in life, including gratitude, benefit, gift, favor, and joy.
The Divine influence is something greater than yourself that if allowed, transforms you into something that others can see. That “something greater” is the gentle power of the Holy Spirit. Before you throw this book down as another religious book, I ask that you at least read through it and see if anything that I say rings a bell. I bet it will. This may just help you break free from short or lifelong bondage.
Mary Pat and her husband, Rick, live on a Middle Georgia farm with too many, but not enough, dogs and animals. Mary Pat has been involved in many vocations in her role as a dietitian/nutritionist, as well as some outside the box! Some of her favorite activities are training and fostering dogs, biking, and gardening. Through the fiery trials of her life, she has made it a focus to find Jesus in every situation. She knows it is only His Spirit that can transform her to be more like Him. Whether it be a gentle nudge or a 2x4 to the head, she knows His ways are perfect (Psalm 18:30). She has learned to embrace life as it is and not try to fabricate one of her own. As the Lord has always whispered to her... “keep walking.”
