Synopsis

Funny Old Folk is a mischievous collection of whimsical stories that peers into the wonderfully odd world of the elderly, where everyday life takes a turn for the absurd. From a lady with 25 cats and a daily routine that lasts well into the evening, to the strange satisfaction of checking the obituaries and not finding your own name, these tales are full of unexpected, sly humor.

With a distinct British wit that dances between the silly and the sharp, this is a book for those who appreciate the eccentricities of life in all its baffling glory. Some stories may raise an eyebrow, others a quiet chuckle - Funny Old Folk isn't your typical cozy read. It's a playful, sometimes shocking, look at the oddities of growing old, and a celebration of the absurdities that come with it.
