Emily Barton is a Minneapolis-based illustrator whose colorful, playful style brings whimsical imagination to every page. With a background in animation and design, Emily spent years creating vibrant visuals for a local animation studio before transitioning to freelance work where she continues to collaborate with clients big and small. She is a longtime contributor to Hellavision Television Network, a global animation project founded in Minneapolis, and her work is often featured in local pop-ups, art fairs, and other community-led marketplaces. Emily finds her best inspiration from sketching in bogs, going on walks with her dog, Roo, or checking out way too many children's books from her local library.
