Synopsis

The world of Roa is a young, mysterious place filled with unique beings who inhabit the hundreds of kingdoms that rest on its soil. Observing from afar in a world of their own are the Jynn, higher beings created for the purpose of distributing emotion to the creations of Roa. After a heated conversation about the responsibility they bear, Emerson, the Jynn of Lightning, is summoned by Vitally, the Goddess of Life, to assist her in preventing the resurrection of an evil god. To do this Emerson must break the oath he swore after the great war between Vitally and this evil god, an oath to never interfere in the lives of the beings of Roa. With his decision made, Emerson sets out to find three others that will join him as Vitally’s champions. This journey takes him to the slave trading kingdom of Bhellora. Vinsmirt, a war-torn kingdom ravaged by invaders, and a secret village hidden between worlds. Upon locating the champions Vitally has picked out, Emerson’s own judgment comes into play and he returns with a selection of his own. Will going against his goddess prove to be the correct course of action? Or will Emerson’s compassion spell the end of Roa?
