This is a companion to the earlier book by Dr. Tilley, titled, You Can Trust the Old Testament. This new volume presnts historical and archaeological evidence demonstrating the historical reliability and authenticity of the New Testament.In addition, many specific criticisms of the New Testament are resolved. Skeptics often pretend and proclaim that there are no sources of information about Jesus outside of the Bible. There are also several appendices, Appendix A lists the more well known non-Christian sources of information about Jesus. Appendix B demonstrates that Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecy in regard to the promised Messiah. Appendix C shows that the New Testament presents Jesus as not only being God, but as fulfilling the same roles as God fulfills in the Old Testament.. Appendix D showing the linkage between the Old and New Testament, using just Matthew. It is frequently argued that the Trinity is not a teaching of the New Testament, so Appendix E goes through the entire New Testament proving that the teaching of the Trinity is clearly taught throughout the New Testament. Finally, Appendix F consists of a brief summary of the evidence for the physical Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The author also has an entire book on that evidence titled, Is Jesus Christ Alive?
