Have you ever lost something precious? Perhaps a loved one, a wedding ring, or even your career—something irreplaceable. How far would you go to recover what was lost?
Now, consider this: what if you were the one who was lost? How far would someone go to find and save you?
Two thousand years ago, a baby was born in Bethlehem. This was a birth foretold by prophets and announced by angels to shepherds in the night. This child, destined to be a King, would go on to heal the sick, restore sight to the blind, calm storms, and cast out demons. He would even raise the dead and ultimately lay down His life, to seek and to save the lost. (Lk 19:10)
Who is this Child? He is Christ the King, Immanuel—God with Us, the Prince of Peace, the Messiah, the Lion of Judah, and the Lamb of God. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love.
He is the Son of God. He is Jesus, the one who came to seek and save the lost, and to save the world.
