Synopsis

Ethical sourcing has become integral to responsible supply chain management as organizations face growing criticism over the social and environmental impacts of their business practices. Beyond meeting regulatory requirements, companies are expected to ensure fair labor conditions, protect human rights, and minimize ecological harm throughout their supplier networks. This shift reflects rising consumer and investor expectations and the acknowledgement that ethical sourcing strengthens long-term resilience, transparency, and brand trust. As global supply chains grow more complex, integrating ethical principles into sourcing decisions demands robust standards, continuous monitoring, and collaborative partnerships that promote accountability throughout the production process. Ethical Sourcing for Responsible Supply Chain Management explores socially responsible global supply chain strategies and leadership for achieving organizational sustainability in business and service organizations. It examines how organizations integrate their supply chain strategies for ethical practices, ethical leadership, environmental consciousness, and social accountability. This book covers topics such as logistics, social entrepreneurship, and organizational development, and is a useful resource for business owners, policymakers, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
