Artificial intelligence (AI) transforms library science by enhancing how information is organized, discovered, and preserved in digital environments. Through applications like automated cataloging, natural language search, and personalized recommendation systems, AI-powered tools enable libraries to deliver more efficient and user-centered services. Advanced algorithms allow for deeper insights into large collections, improving metadata generation and facilitating access to both structured and unstructured resources. As libraries evolve, the integration of AI technologies offers new opportunities to expand accessibility, streamline operations, and support research in innovative and impactful ways. AI Applications, Tools, and Algorithms for Advancing Library Sciences examines the applications, benefits, challenges and potential solutions relating to the adoption and implementation of AI in libraries. It explores how AI transforms the traditional practices adopted in libraries and brings forward the unutilized AI tools that contribute to the advancement of library and information science. This book covers topics such as algorithms, chatbots, and library management, and is a useful resource for librarians, educators, engineers, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
