Aby John is a Postdoctoral Researcher working as Junior Scientific Researcher (M.H.C.) at RUDN University, Moscow, Russia. He is on the editorial board of World Journal of English Language (Scopus Indexed Q1 Journal) and Journal of Language Teaching and Research (Scopus Indexed Q1 Journal). He was also a Visiting Professor at Financial University, Russia. He has one design patent granted (U.K.) and ten patents published in the Patent Office Journal, Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks, Government of India. He bagged the prestigious Young Social Scientist Award - 2021 for his contributions in the realm of humanities and social sciences. He is a Cambridge Assessment Specialist, Cambridge, UK and has authored three books entitled Language Recognition System: An Application Based Study with Special Reference to Sociolinguistics and Computational Linguistics (ISBN 978-93-91473-11-2), Fanonian Decolonization and Purple Hibiscus (ISBN 978-93-91595-43-2), and The Crux of the Orientalist Dichotomy: Decoding the Myths and Facts (ISBN 978-81-19102-95-2). He has also been the editor of two edited books titled Emerging Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences (ISBN: 978-93-5747-220-3) and Euphoric Confluence of Social Science and Humanities (ISBN: 978-93-5747-924-0). He was the principal investigator of two funded research projects entitled "Cultural and Linguistic Impediments in Translation" and "The Role of Social Media and Digital Platforms in Facilitating Language Learning and Intercultural Communication: An Empirical Study Conducted among Migrants". Being the editorial board member/reviewer of 17 international peer-reviewed journals, he could review several research articles for reputed databases. He mainly focuses on interdisciplinary studies and his areas of interest are applied sociolinguistics, language teaching and learning, digital humanities, socio-cultural studies, cross-cultural business communication, and postcolonialism.
