Muhammad Farooq Umer is a public health specialist and epidemiologist with over 18 years of progressive experience spanning clinical dentistry, field public health, international research, and higher education leadership. Registered as Consultant in Public Health with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Health Statistics, and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH). Currently serving as Assistant Professor of Dental Public Health at the College of Dentistry, King Faisal University, Al- Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, combining an active research programme with recognised excellence in teaching, curriculum leadership, and postgraduate supervision. Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and Approved PhD supervisor under the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Lincoln University College Malaysia, and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Pakistan.
