Maria Luisa Mendes Teixeira holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (1995), and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Complutense University of Madrid and the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) of the University of Lisbon. She is currently a Full Professor in the Graduate Program in Business Administration and in the Professional Master’s Program in Intercultural Communication in Organizations at Mackenzie Presbyterian University. She is an affiliate member of the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) and serves as the President of the International Association for Transcultural and Organizational Studies (AIETORG). She is also part of the Global Social Norms (GSN) research network based at the Institute for Future Studies (Sweden) and the Dignity, Honor and Face (DHF) network at the University of York (England).
