Maria Denami is an Associate Professor of Education Sciences. Interested in Higher Education Pedagogy, her main research topic is the process of professionalisation of students and their support to the development of professional skills. In this sense, her research objective is to understand how experiential learning combined with reflexivity support leads to the awareness/development of students' professional competences. She is a member of LISEC-UR 2310. Maria Denami has worked for three years in the Student Success Unit and has designed and managed various projects to support integration and success. During the winter semester 2021-2022, she was a visiting professor at the University of Dresden to participate in the training of future teachers in pedagogical engineering and training. This book has as an aim to deepen the inclusion strategies and policies at universities with a triple angle of analysis. The first is concerning the general policies and programs at universities to include students with different capabibilies or handicaps. The second concerns the use of education technology and AI for the inclusion and accessibility at university. The third concerns the programs that accompany students and adults into the work field: professionnalisation and professional insertion.
Saloua Bennaghmouch-Maire is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Haute-Alsace (UHA) and has been serving as the Director of the UHA Business School since June 10, 2024, for a five-year term. Her expertise lies in the field of franchise networks. She has been the Director of the Master’s program Marketing and Engineering of Franchising and Network Enterprises (MIFER) since 2000 and was appointed Chair of the Scientific Committee of the French Franchise Federation (FFF) in 2023. In recognition of her contributions to education and research in franchising, she received the Golden Ribbon of Franchising (Ruban d’Or) in March 2024. As Director of UHA Business School, her mission is to strengthen academic excellence and the professionalization of students in an increasingly competitive national and international environment.
Nathalie Gavens is Associate Professor (Maîtresse de conférences HDR) in Educational Psychology at Université de Haute-Alsace (UHA), affiliated with the research team LISEC – Laboratoire Interuniversitaire des Sciences de l’Éducation et de la Communication (EA 2310). Her research focuses on: learning processes and the support of students with special educational needs (“publics à besoins éducatifs particuliers”) lisec-recherche.eu +1 inclusive education, educational psychology, and cognitive development in educational contexts.
