Amer Ibrahim is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the College of Information Technology, United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Human–Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence) awarded by the Higher Technical School of Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering, University of Granada, Spain. Dr. Ibrahim’s academic contributions span Human–Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and game-based learning. His research has advanced playability engineering, usability evaluation frameworks, and design methodologies for educational and serious games, as well as context-aware and pervasive learning environments. He has contributed to the development of AI-driven adaptive learning models, privacy-preserving and secure digital systems, and intelligent interaction design for educational, healthcare, and IoT-enabled environments. Dr. Ibrahim has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences and has actively participated in international research collaborations, editorial boards, and scientific committees. His scholarly work demonstrates a sustained commitment to technically rigorous, user-centered, and secure computing systems.

Taher M. Ghazal is a Principal Research Scientist and Associate Professor specializing in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, and Digital Innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cybersecurity at the Center for Physical Systems (C2PS), Khalifa University of Science and Technology, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Ghazal’s academic contributions span business analytics, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, cybersecurity, and smart digital systems, with a strong emphasis on applied and industry-driven research in MIS and information systems. He has published extensively, with over 175 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications and more than 11,000 citations, and has been recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists for multiple consecutive years. His research addresses secure and intelligent digital infrastructures, data-driven decision-making, cyber resilience, and the integration of emerging technologies into business and organizational contexts. In addition to his research output, Dr. Ghazal has led international research initiatives, chaired IEEE- and Scopus-indexed conferences, contributed to patented innovations in IoT, AI, and blockchain systems, and played key roles in academic leadership, research coordination, and quality assurance aligned with international frameworks such as AACSB, ABET, and QS rankings.
