Synopsis

May Miscellanies is a sincere gift from a poet whose heart's desire is to transform pain into a picture of hope, to translate the mundane into something transient, and to craft a tale of resilience out of a lifetime of disappointments.

This anthology consists of thirty-one poems that try to capture the emotions of going into the unchartered territories of adulthood, the longings for love and a family, the uncertainty of the future, grieving lost loved ones, a relationship with the Creator of the Universe, navigating self-doubt and the will of a writer whose greatest desires is to have her readers experience hope through her poems.

These poems appear as fragmented trinkets in an old tin box whose values are only determined by nostalgia. But they are camouflaged treasures crafted to give the reader hope, and to spark in every longing heart the eternal light of Christ.
