Synopsis

Three lives. One shattered world. Will they defy The Light, or be consumed by it?

In a world where humanity is confined to twelve walled megacities under the rule of The Light, peace has come at a steep cost. Disease and hunger are forgotten, but so is the connection to nature. Within these cities, society is divided: the obedient Greys and the outcast Spectres, marked as sinners by their coloured eyes.

Isaac, Sarah and Vera's lives have all been shaped by The Light’s doctrines in vastly different ways, but their beliefs and understandings of reality shatter as they uncover ancient secrets that reveal the dark history behind their world’s peace.

Isaac, exiled for being a Spectre, ventures into the wilds to find his lost love, Tristan, but instead discovers powerful spirits—living embodiments of consciousness which The Light seeks to destroy. Sarah, a new mother to a Spectre child, flees the deadly Order 13, which threatens to wipe out her kind. Vera, vying for the favour of the Cardinal - leader of The Light - embarks on a mission to extinguish the spirits in the wilds, igniting a catastrophic chain of events.

As their fates collide, they must confront a chilling truth: are any of them truly in control of their actions, or are they the inevitable result of machinations beyond their understanding?

Iris is a pulse-pounding tale of survival, power, and the desperate fight for freedom in a world where free will is a dangerous illusion.
