Alex, a 17 year old mind reader, has been living with her abusive foster dad for years not knowing what she truly is until one day something terrible causes her to run away to freedom.
She does not stay free for long though for Darrel, who just so happens to be the best tracker in the country, is not the only one tracking her down. Once captured, Alex begins to discover who she is and what she's truly capable of. Her abilities could change the world if only she could ESCAPE!
