Synopsis

Wealthy miners and ranchers conspired to work out what remained of the valuable ore while keeping the location of that mine a secret by steering Dutchman Hunters far away from it with misdirection, tall tales, murder, and intrigue.

Even if this story did not center on The Lost Dutchman Gold Mine, it would be a fascinating read giving some inkling of the workings of the mind of a Treasure Hunter. As historian Sir Thomas Aquinas noted: To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible. Similarly, this is a fascinating account about the last vestiges of the Old West that was still alive in Apache Junction, Arizona in the 1960s when Feldman first arrived there.

Their discovery will, eventually, be widely recognized as history changing.
