From Ur of Chaldea, through Haran and Persepolis to New York, only one nation has been at the center, Israel. If God were to use a people to bring his Word (the Bible), also Redemption and announce future events, this people should outlive the others and so it has been: “and his name is engraved on the witness of history... the God of all Nations... the God of Israel”.
