Synopsis
Has Prime Minister Roland Pollard really been murdered? The louche and unimaginable 'Roly Poly' is protected by Inspector Frances 'Frank' Steadwell and her team as he hides from a Chinese assassination team intent on his death. Yet his murder at the hands of the same Chinese killers has already been reported and accepted by the public and media. The PM has become his own Doppelganger - his own living ghost.
Set in a secret government base between the Devon village of Milton Abbot and the famous River Tamar, the abandoned Milton Manor and Church of St. Tamara of the Valley of Tears provide a fitting background for a haunting tale of historical and present-day, violence and evil.
