Synopsis

When my husband passed to Heaven, I was in shock at first. But because I already had a deep relationship with the Lord, I was able to go forward, especially in the beginning. Grief, I have found, is not an experience where we can just say, “Oh, this is grief, we can rebuke this, and it will GO in Jesus’ name!” No, God our Father does HELP us (what would we otherwise do?) but I have learned that grief is something every person must methodically walk through to the other side. Each one of us is different, and we receive differently. Yet, in the end it is all the same. “The Love of My Life is Gone!” I’m not saying we don’t stumble, or sometimes just sit down and say, “I can’t do this.” BUT GOD! When we trust in Him, He always, always sweeps in and shows us how to take another step.
