Dr. Cheol Kim -A doctor of Eastern philosophy and practitioner of Oriental medicine, Dr. Cheol Kim bridges the worlds of science and spirit. With advanced degrees from Dongguk University and Yonsei University, he blends modern understanding with ancient principles of harmony, healing, and nature. His lifelong study of balance, between mind, body, and the natural world, inspires the philosophy at the heart of Yin & Yang. Through his guidance, this book series transforms timeless wisdom into stories children can feel, understand, and grow with.

Artist Megan Nicole is a visual artist and storyteller whose roots in abstract art and design inspire every creation. She weaves photography, illustration, and emotion into her work, bringing imagination to life through color and texture. As Miguel "GORILLA" Lopez's creative partner for more than two decades, her vision brings warmth, heart, and harmony to Yin & Yang, transforming each page into a living world filled with wonder. Since joining GORILLA Enterprises in 2004, Megan has continued to explore the art of storytelling through imagery, capturing the beauty of balance in every page and phrase.

Former animator and character designer for The Simpsons and Family Guy, Miguel "GORILLA" Lopez brings a lifetime of storytelling experience to Yin & Yang. Born from the creative spirit of VHS '88, the Valencia High School alumnus turned his early passion for screen printing at Fullerton College into a lifelong journey through animation, design, and visual storytelling. His character design credits include The Simpsons, Family Guy, Xiaolin Showdown, and Back at the Barnyard, his first 3D animated series. Known for his expressive characters and heart-centered design, GORILLA's art carries motion, warmth, and depth.
