It details the deeds of Adam's descendants, good and bad, teaching us about the path each took toward God, or, in many cases, away from Him.

When Adam dies and is reunited with his son Abel in Paradise, imagine his questions for each new visitor to Abraham’s Bosom. He searches for information about the family he and Eve started. Did any of the line of Cain reach the safety of Noah’s Ark? Had the Seed of the Woman Who God promised been born? How long must the world wait for the One who will break the curse his sin caused?

In the fullness of time, the effects of the curse are undone. God's master plan is executed, and we see, through Adam's eyes, how failure, death, and sorrow are rendered void, replaced by purpose, hope, and life. The curse of sin is reversed by the sacrifice of the Creator Himself.
