This novel is a look-in at the Arringtons of Louisville, Kentucky; a unique and more than somewhat quirky legal-artist-musician family, that host a wide variety of guests, human and animal, in their off-the-grid urban compound. The Arringtons have a long and colorful local history. Presently in their saga they are living through the tumultuous time of protests and a pandemic. Alexander Arrington, the opinionated and verbose legal legend, either greatly loved or mightily scorned, and his daughter Amy, encounter the slings and arrows with their most peculiar style.
