The three sisters, along with their cousin, Zachary unexpectedly meet a Native American medicine woman named Wha She on a boating trip to the Missouri River in Fort peck, Montana. Wha She has a keen sense of the forces of nature and reveals to the children what she has learned from the Great spirit, Wakon Tonka and the River God as to why the Earth is experiencing so many fires, floods and violent storms. She also shares with them what they can do to protect all life forces on Earth. Unexpectedly a rain storm develops along the river and she offers to shelter the children in her log home, providing warmth and comfort, until the storm passes and they can reunite with their parents. Wha She offers a traditional prayer and Native American ceremony to calm their fears and anxieties.
