Bounce Cat is the brain child of Simon Driscoll; musician, composer, illustrator of Squiggly the Snake, and creator of the Fluggles.

While pondering the meaning of life over a beer and a pie with some dear ol’ friends (as dear ol’ friends often do!) it came upon him… There is cat. There is bounce. There is Bounce Cat.

In the weeks and years that followed, Bounce Cat found himself scrawled upon on any spare bit of paper, envelope and/or napkin Simon could find… There was no iteration not exploited, and no pun left unattempted.

Who is Bounce Cat, you ask? He is the inner weirdo in us all… The joke no one gets, but laughs at anyway. The giggle you have when you’ve no clue what just happened. The bizarre and just plain bonkers musing that passes through your mind when you’ve eaten too much sugar…

His is a world of incessant chickens, lonesome sharks, snarky rats and more… A world not unlike ours in a way (if the last couple of years are anything to go by). He does not overthink, in fact he rarely thinks at all. He simply is.
