Synopsis

My name is Adam Kramer, and I'm somehow supposed to summarize this rather hefty book into a paragraph or something. Have you seen the size of this thing? It's as big as a phone book. Natasha says I can rattle on sometimes with the details, and boy, was she right. If I could summarize the thing, I wouldn't have 100,000 words trying to tell the story. Fine. Ok. I got this.

So, I'd just come out of marching band season having bled myself dry paying for the big trips, and as such, rewarded myself with a book I wanted to read for some time. Well, apparently, there was a memo that went out among the student body over where the rich girls were going to be treading their holy heels, and I missed it, so they responded to my intrusion by ... I had to backspace out the spoilers because apparently, a summary tries to lure you in without giving it all away. Let's see... They were mean to me. Unnecessarily so.

Anyway, being the evil people they were, it turned out they were equally mean to each other, and the richest, most beautiful, and most responsible for my pain of them all ended up at my mercy. What did I do? Inflict my revenge? No, I repaid cruelty with kindness, and she noticed. Boy, did she notice. Not everyone appreciated all of her noticing of how awesome I was which, you know, is all of the stuff that happens in the book. I want to blame one person or another, but we had a lot to overcome because of who we were. Billionaire heiress meets minimum wage sandwich maker doesn't exactly lend itself to success.

But like I told the people at the school of music the first time I relayed this story to others, somehow we continually found ourselves standing together in unison even though we were octaves apart.
