Ismail Suardi Wekke earned doctoral degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with the support of Ford Foundation International Fellowship Program. He received invitation to join Indonesian Young Scholar Network (Mataram, 2013). He serves in Institut Agama Islam Negeri Sorong, Indonesia. Adjunct Professor in University College of Yayasan Pahang, Malaysia (2019). Visiting Professor of Fatoni University, Thailand (2020). 4 June 2022-9 September 2023 was appointed as The Chair STIA Abdul Haris.
