Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Aslam is recognized as 1% top reviewer according to web of science in 2017, 2018 and 2019 in multi-discipline, cross discipline and clinical medicine respectively. He has served as honorary academic editor in several journals and had experience of more than 8 years in peer review and academic editor. He is authored/editor of three books title as Cases on Teaching Pharmacology to Complementary and Alternative Medicine Students, Multidisciplinary Applications of Natural Science for Drug Discovery and Integrative Medicine and, Artificial Intelligence Applications Using ChatGPT in Education: Case Studies and Practices. He is currently working in School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xiamen University Malaysia. He had completed his Ph.D. from School of Bioprocess Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) and did worked on natural product chemistry. He was awarded scholarship by the Ministry of higher education (MOHE), Malaysia under the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) to pursue his Ph.D. He did Master of Philosophy from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He has completed his graduation from Baqai Medical University, Pakistan in Doctor of Pharmacy degree (often abbreviated as Pharm.D. or PharmD). He has started his career as a production supervisor and quality control analyst in different pharmaceutical companies and then in 2013 he has moved his academic career, as a lecturer in Lahore pharmacy college, Pakistan where he had taught pharmaceutical chemistry, instrumentation, and organic chemistry. He has served as assistant professor in Rashid Latif college of Pharmacy and Ziauddin University after his Ph.D. During his research work, Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Aslam had worked on the metabolomics analysis, fragmentation analysis of bioactive compounds, polyherbal formulation and their interactions in wound healing. His area of expertise is phytochemistry, Pharmacognosy, green extraction technique, wound healing studies, animal modeling, novel plant extraction methods, and green solvents. He had published more than nighty five (95) articles and have an h-index=16. Currently, he is working on public health issues, new extraction techniques, green extraction methods and identifying new material in the healing wound.
Bancha Yingngam , Associate Professor at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand, specializes in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology. He earned his pharmacy degree in 2005 and his Ph.D. in 2011 from the same institution. A postdoctoral fellowship was held at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, Austria, from 2013 to 2021. He has published more than 20 scholarly works with an h-index of 10 according to the public profile in the Scopus database. Dr. Yingngam has also reviewed more than 100 Scopus-listed articles, underscoring his commitment to advancing his field. He has supervised 2 Ph.D.s and Master’s theses.
Dr. Tariq Javed is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. He currently serves as the Incharge and Chairperson of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Government College University (GCU), Lahore, a position he has held since 2022. Prior to this, Dr. Javed was an Associate Professor at Lahore Pharmacy College, Lahore Medical and Dental College (LMDC), affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore, where he also served as the Principal of Ruth Pfau College Life Sciences. Dr. Javed completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, where his research focused on the therapeutic potential of medicinal plants against Hepatitis C virus. He holds an M.Phil. in Pharmacy and a B.Pharm., both from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Javed has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical research, particularly in phytochemistry, antiviral drug development, and pharmaceutical microbiology. His work is widely published in renowned international journals, including studies on Alzheimer's disease, anticancer potential of phytochemicals, and antiviral properties of medicinal plants. He is also a recognized Ph.D. supervisor, approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Dr. Javed is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Microbiology, the American Society of Pharmacognosy, and the Pakistan Biological Safety Association. He is a life member of the Pakistan Biological Safety Association and a global assessor for the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH), UK. His administrative roles are equally notable, having served on various ethical committees, technical committees, and boards of studies in different academic institutions. Dr. Javed is also involved in collaborative research projects with pharmaceutical industries and diagnostic laboratories across Pakistan. In addition to his academic and research achievements, Dr. Javed has actively participated in numerous workshops and conferences worldwide, focusing on cutting-edge topics such as CRISPR technology, nanotechnology, and biosafety. His commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences is evident through his continuous efforts in research, education, and professional development. Dr. Sana Riaz is a Senior Research Officer at the Food and Biotechnology Research Center (FBRC), PCSIR Lahore, where she has been serving since 2022. She brings a wealth of experience in microbiology, molecular genetics, and biotechnology, with a distinguished career that spans over a decade in academia and research. Prior to her current role, Dr. Riaz held positions as an Assistant Professor at Lahore Institute of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences and as a Research Scientist at the School of Biomedicine, KU Leuven, Belgium. Dr. Riaz completed her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at The Women University Multan and KU Leuven, Belgium, where her research focused on the biochemical and molecular characterization of potential anticancer phytochemicals. She also holds an M.Phil. in Molecular Biology from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, and an MSc in Biochemistry from Government College University, Lahore. Her research expertise encompasses a broad range of topics, including gene editing, bioinformatics, phytochemical drug development, and antimicrobial resistance. Dr. Riaz has successfully led multiple R&D projects, including the development of rapid detection kits for microbes, RNA extraction kits from viruses, and microbial production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). She has also contributed significantly to the development of innovative products, such as a herbal topical gel and an edible, sustainable food coating biofilm, for which she holds several patents. Dr. Riaz is an active member of various scholarly societies, including the American Society of Microbiology, the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, and the Pakistan Biological Safety Association. She has published extensively in reputable journals and has authored several books on topics ranging from anticancer medicinal plants to the production of interferon alpha 2b. In addition to her research and publications, Dr. Riaz has organized and participated in numerous workshops and conferences globally, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as CRISPR/Cas9, biosafety, and halal science. Her commitment to advancing the field of biotechnology and her contributions to research and innovation have earned her several fellowships and awards, including a Responsible Research Fellowship from the American Society of Microbiology and Health Security Partner USA.
