Praying for BREAD. Each letter in bread is a thematic chapter for meditation with the goal of growing closer to the Divine and becoming fuller of spiritual food for life. There will be an additional chapter on the necessity of building kinship and companionship within a community. BREAD plus Vitamin C stands for B- Praying for Blessings; R- Praying for Refreshment of Radically Righteous Resources; E- Praying for the Enrichment of Enthusiasm; A- Praying to be Anchored in Jesus the Solid Rock; D- Praying and Dreaming into Your God Designed Destiny and Praying for Bread in Community: Vitamin C2- Community in Christ. The goal of this meditation is to enhance intimacy with the Divine.

The chapter on Enthusiasm has a step by step Mindfulness based meditation. Meditation is a way to specifically focus the mind and the soul in prayer. Meditation is an intentional choice to slow down the activities of life in order to focus on hearing the Divine, and being refueled for life in the exchange. This book aims to help you achieve a deeper connection, to heighten your relationships with God and with others by receiving spiritual nourishment.
