Synopsis

The journey of an immigrant to "God’s own country," America, in search of good education and better life. He recounts the events of the day he received his travel visa and finally boarded his flight to his promised land. Upon his arrival in America, he was met with a world he had never imagined existed. All he could do was wish his people back home to witness his new world with him. Soon enough, he finds out that he, as well as the people in his native land, need more enlightenment about the foreign land; and that life in America, in general, isn’t at all rosy like his people back home thought it was. He finally breaks out of his delusion and begins to understand the reality of living in the United States of America. Having gained some insight into this new world, he sheds some light on the great things and challenges in both America and his native country. In the end, he wants to thank America for the opportunities accorded him. He’s forever grateful!
