Synopsis

The Jesus Movement was one God’s most powerful 20th century works. This coloring book is a psychedelic art celebration, commemorating that astonishing time.

Spring, 1967—tremors of God’s movement were being felt in San Francisco. That summer became known as the “Summer of Love.”
By mid-summer, the entire west coast was reverberating. God moved among young people who were on a quest for peace and love—but hadn’t found what they were looking for. Southern California exploded, becoming the epicenter of an incredible movement. Young people may have thought they were being drawn by SoCal’s sunshine. What God drew them into was beyond their imaginations. They became “Jesus People.”
The Jesus People Coloring Trip has 31 drawings of phrases, symbols, and images taken from that amazing period. A related devotional accompanies each drawing, allowing you to meditate on God’s Word and works while coloring the complex groovy artwork. Each coloring page is one sided, so you can use either pencils or makers.
After seeing the movie "Jesus Revolution, maybe you're hungry for more groovy Jesus movement artwork, history, even related devotionals. Or maybe you've only seen advertisements for the movie and want to know more about God's work during that incredible time. Or maybe you were there—or wish you had been. Even if you know little to nothing about the Jesus Movement, this coloring book / devotional will give you an expanded view of that extraordinary time.
