Nowruz as the celebration of arrival of spring and the beginning of the Persian New Year, is observed in several countries along the Silk Road and is listed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity as a tradition over 3,000 years old.
This bilingual book is written in both English and Persian (Farsi), with the Persian text composed in the "Nastaliq" style used in ancient manuscripts and the colorful illustrations are inspired by Persian miniatures, especially "Gol o Morgh" (flower and bird), which have been adapted to create a beautiful and delicate picture book about spring for all children around the world.
