Lorrie C. Reed wears many hats, including as an ordained minister, chaplain, educator, author, and researcher. Her past ministerial callings were executive director of the CCIW Disciples School for Ministry, associate pastor at a United Church of Christ congregation, and hospital chaplain. Her writings are grounded in womanist theology and epistemology. Reed's current calling is to use her gifts to promote justice at the intersection of race, class, and gender.
