John Fulling Crosby served as a Presbyterian minister for eleven years before leaving the ministry to teach in the areas of marriage and family development and marriage and family therapy. Crosby taught at Indiana University for six years and the University of Kentucky for sixteen years, serving seven years as Chair of the Department of Family Studies. Crosby is the author of twenty-three books, including three in theology, four edited volumes, and one book of fiction.
