Steven Leonard Jacobs is Professor of Religious Studies and Emeritus Aronov Endowed Chair of Judaic Studies at The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, His research foci are Hebrew Bible, Dead Sea Scrolls, Interfaith Relations, and Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
