Synopsis

During the battle of Esmaborl, the Nimrods besiege the fortress of Nûmbeïlvathr, forcing the heroes to split up in two teams. Kalvin takes care of defending the coast while Trace and Devan leave to the hidden city. Later on they meet the Egiris chieftain, before crossing the path of Thyaurn and Mortiughe. After ordering the sauroctone warriors to burn the trees crossing the city, the Oppressor's brothers take their leave. Having an idea in mind to prevent their enemies from escaping, Gharraùd and the burning tribe lady lead Trace and Devan through the tunnels of Nûmbeïlvathr. Kalvin and his friends now know they will need to go to the besieged city, to lend a hand to their allies. But time is of the essence, for the revelations of the demiurge and the ordeals that lead to overthrowing Ypterak will test their courage and their unity.
