In the library of the University of Pennsylvania, there is a "Book Club" that several students decide to attend, among them Natalie from Alabama and Morthen from Denmark.
The professor divides the students into groups, and Natalie and Morthen have to read Tolstoy together, so they fall in love by spending so much time together. However, for many reasons, they cannot be together.
Natalie has the idea of rewriting Tolstoy’s book to be together so they can share time and express their feelings.
Slowly, Natalie and Morthen will include their fellow Book Club members in the novel.
The idea seems to work for a while. The question will be how they will work out the outcome, whether or not they will do the right thing, whether or not they will be together, and which path they will choose.
