Synopsis

The Creative Catalogue is the first published anthology of short stories, extracts of longer works, lyrics, poetry, monologues, flash fiction and creative non-fiction composed by young adults studying at Bournemouth and Poole College in Dorset.

In total, 48 students took up the challenge to compose a literary contribution and others took photographs of our coastal location from which a cover image was selected. The title was selected by a poll and our publisher name, Coastal Creatives, was chosen to represent the students as independent publishers who have produced a professional quality book, suitable for young adults as well as not-so-young adults.
Everyone involved in this, the first volume of The Creative Catalogue, is proud to show how experimenting, challenging ourselves and taking risks can enhance our learning.
