Roberto is a man in search of answers, and like any good journalist would do he attempts in every way to "learn how to hear Luisa", just as he promised to her on the day of her funeral. But the more he tries, the more he seems to lose touch with reality, for he has yet to realize that in order to connect with her he must first reconcile with the idea that his wife will never come back.
Only then will Luisa be a reassuring presence in his life and no longer be a painful memory.
