Synopsis

Albert's Royal Adventure
The Adventures of Albert Mouse, Book 10

A very important letter has arrived at No. 10 Higher Street. It is from the 27th King's Coronation Claims Office, and it is addressed to Albert Mouse, inviting him personally to attend the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey.

Albert is beside himself with excitement. Mrs Mouse is enormously proud. His Great Uncle's blue suit, it turns out, has been entirely eaten by moths. But a new one will have to be found, because Dartmouth's most fa-mouse explorer is going to London.

Meanwhile, in a dull prison cell, a certain Mickey Mustard has also been reading about the Coronation. And Mickey Mustard has a plan.

What follows is the grandest, most thrilling adventure of the series, as Albert and Big Tony find themselves at the very heart of the Coronation, foiling a daring plot to steal the Coronation Crown, receiving their medals from the King himself in the Royal Throne Room, taking tea with Queen Camilla, and returning home to Dartmouth on a tomato-red steam train to find the riverbanks decorated with their portraits and the whole town cheering.

A joyful, patriotic romp created in partnership with the pupils of Hallfield School, Birmingham, as part of the Albert Mouse Book for Schools Project, with illustrations by the children throughout.

Set in the dyslexia-friendly OpenDyslexic font, this book is thoughtfully designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all young readers.

Perfect for readers aged 5 to 8, and for anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to save the Crown and have lunch with the King.
