Synopsis

Prisoners & Pirates is the second book of the Tomes of Sagittarius series, and is the direct sequel to Universe Eight.

The Sunnese Navy is defeated, and retreats across the Moon Sea to the Sun Nation, all goals squandered. Fort Lightchild remains in the hands of the Gregaronian Loyalists, and the High Isle remains property of Blue Armour Corporation. Ben Reynolds is safe at the King's Hill manor, though frozen in time due to unseen forces. His grandfather Peter, and Naia Lore are en-route to Oilton to return to their homeland. "Prisoners & Pirates" follows Ben Reynoldses friend, Jeremiah Woodard, the drummar of Eight Nites Out. Jeremiah is a stoic sort. His personal struggles ultimately end in a mysterious accident, when a train hits his car, and transports him and his friends to the realm of the Afterlife, and the nine universes of God-King Gregoros. Jeremiah struggles to find his footing in this strange new world. His journey brings him to a band of raggedy hippies, a truly horrid crew of degenerate pirates, and demons from another realm. He learns of this odd land; "Universe Eight," and vows to get to the heart of the secrets, his strange new powers, and how to grow as a person as he ventures through the land of dead gods and vengeful humans.
