Poor Man's Justice is the true story of a father of three children who struggles with a deceptive plea bargain and four years of imprisonment that left a family in turmoil for more than a decade. Starting with his assault on the other man in his wife's life, this true life drama exposes the abuses of a corrupt court process, including appeals, prison degradation and a vindictive revocation that nearly cost the author his life after a transfer to the hole in one of Canada's Medium/Maximum Penitentiaries. The book ends with a civil court setting in which the court seeks to protect the abusive nature of the justice system as a father fights to be heard.
