Synopsis
Roy (Born: January 1917) uses his audio-memoir to explore his life as a child in North London, playing in car-free streets, enjoying sneaking into the Arsenal and working in Covent Garden. He talks about the accident that results in his life changing injury and about the care and treatment that enabled him to lead a full and eventful life. His time on the Knowledge and his subsequent career as a London cabby, driver for the experimental post-war Austin and as Sales Manager for Beardmore Motors is fully visited.
