Synopsis

The user's mind plays a crucial role when experimenting with texts and design, and its workings can be analyzed from a scientific perspective. Let's explore some key aspects of this process.

When a user interacts with a text or design, various cognitive activities take place in their mind. At the perceptual level, visual and textual stimuli are processed by sensory systems such as vision and reading. The user's mind interprets and analyzes visual elements such as colors, shapes, images and typography, as well as the structure and content of the text.

Understanding the text involves activating linguistic processes, such as decoding words, attributing meaning and interpreting sentences. Users use their prior knowledge, vocabulary, and experiences to understand the messages conveyed by the text.
