Synopsis

Wood Badge Course Directors saw a need to provide consistent, delicious, and cost effective meals for Wood Badge courses in the National Capitol Area Council. Beginning in 2022, a group of former and future course directors got together with a plan to upgrade the meal service provided to participants. By volunteering their time, coordinating directly with participants and course staffers, they were able to up the kitchen game and the New Kitchen Order took off.

The CD Cook Crew has received rave reviews for quality, taste, variety, and special handling of meals. While the crew may not deliver Michelin Star rated offerings, they have received 5-star yelp reviews and have earned their spot as the Best Food Served at Camp William B. Snyder.

This is their story.

All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the NCAC Wood Badge and NYLT scholarship funds.
